Synopsis

Bobby Bowfinger has been trying to break into moviemaking for years. He makes one last ditch attempt with a dim-witted alien invasion movie called Chubby Rain - convincing his motley cast and crew that troubled action hero Kit Lambert has agree to be his leading man. Enlisting the help of Lambert's brother and exploiting his unwitting star's increasing paranoia, Bowfinger sets about getting his movie made - and we get a fast, funny, good-natured film about the craziness of Hollywood!

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
