Synopsis

Field mouse Mrs Brisby needs help because her home is threatened by the farmer's plough and she can't move her sick son. That help eventually comes from a group of super-intelligent rats who live nearby. But what is the connection between Mrs Brisby and the rats of Nimh? How did they get so clever - and can she trust them? This adventure has beautiful animation, a story full of interesting ideas and plenty of wonderful characters.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
