Into Film Clubs
Find out everything you need to know about starting an Into Film Club.
Into Film is turning 10! This November marks a whole decade since Into Film formed, and we'll be celebrating our 10th anniversary throughout the year. Below, in a joint statement, Into Film CEO Paul Reeve and Chair Eric Fellner reflect on a terrific decade, and on what's to come.
2023 marks Into Film's ten-year anniversary. We're immensely proud of what Into Film has achieved in terms of both outcomes and reach over that decade. None of this would have been possible without the support of our funders, partners and staff; and the engagement and commitment of teachers. We are particularly grateful to those who have supported, trusted and partnered with us throughout the last ten years: the BFI (and the UK's Lottery players whose support enables the BFI to grant us National Lottery funding); Cinema First, Northern Ireland Screen and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
Now, as we enter our second decade, we want to build further on what's been achieved to date.
We'll do this by supporting schools and teachers to further realise the power and potential of film and the moving image to transform the way pupils learn across the whole curriculum. We'll look to inspire young people to tell their own screen stories, and advocate even more vocally for why this is so valuable and important. We'll encourage and enable the watching and discussing of a diverse range of screen stories. And we'll raise awareness of and ignite interest in screen storytelling as a career, highlighting the breadth of roles available within the industry.
The coming years will be exciting ones, as we develop new partnerships and build on existing ones to further those goals, and enable our activities to achieve the greatest possible impact, inclusion and reach across all four UK nations.
