My Place is Into Film's exciting new archive filmmaking project, created for young people from Northern Ireland aged 14-19 years old.

The project endeavours to virtually interview residents of a Belfast care home asking to hear all about their memories of growing up in Northern Ireland, their wisdom and any other tales they have to tell. The safety of all participants is crucial to us at Into Film so this process will not involve any physical contact with the residents.

We then invite young people to attend four remote sessions with a professional filmmaker between mid-February and March where they will use archive video footage to edit and enhance the recorded interviews.

The finished film will be displayed to the public, and shared widely amongst the care home residents, their families and staff. This is together with being distributed and promoted across the region.
