Animator Robert Grieves joins Our British Council Shorts Tour

In association with the British Council, we've been screening a fantastic programme of short British films to schools across the United Kingdom.

Our British Council Shorts film tour, has been celebrating the exciting culture of filmmaking in the United Kingdom and given primary and secondary students the opportunity to take part in Q&A sessions with award-winning directors and filmmakers.

The final filmmaker to join the tour was animator and illustrator Robert Grieves, who talked about his short film, Sausage at Weydon Academy in Farnham, Surrey.

After the screening of the film, the students of Weydon Academy got to ask Robert their questions about the film industry and receive valuable advice on how to succeed as a filmmaker.

The industry is made up by all kinds of people who are willing to get stuck in. Having creative skills is only the start, careers are made from hard work and drive.
