Into Film champions inclusion and embraces diversity and difference across both our team and our programmes.

Our organisational values - to be inclusive, inspiring and impactful - guide and shape our strategy, ethos, and purpose. We are committed to embedding and implementing these values every day, across all aspects of our work.

We will play our part in helping to drive societal change.

We will support schools, youth organisations and the screen industry to use the power of film to bring people together, foster inclusivity, encourage social action and promote social cohesion.

We will encourage more young people from a diversity of backgrounds to consider becoming the future employees of the screen industry, helping to shape it to become more inclusive and representative.

We will work with other organisations so that we can be bold and brave in our decisions and direction; we will consult and improve; advocate and influence; showcase and celebrate. We are always learning; we will all work to give and receive feedback in a constructive way, which we know will improve creativity and productivity.

Into Film is committed to:

• Empowering and supporting young people to watch, respond to and create films and moving image content that entertains, challenges and informs; acknowledges and explores multiple perspectives and viewpoints and fosters empathy, understanding and inclusion.
• Increasing representation and diversity across all aspects of our work, including in our staff team, so that we elevate the stories and voices of everyone and, particularly, those whose voices are currently under-represented in the screen and creative industries.
• Ensuring that the screen industry becomes increasingly more inclusive and representative by inspiring young people of all ages, backgrounds, cultures and abilities to consider future work and careers in the industry.

Our EEDI strategy and action plan ensures we are working towards ambitious goals in these three areas and monitoring and measuring our progress. We are held to account by our Trustees, our staff, our funders and the participants in our programmes.
