Ducks are known to migrate to warmer climates when their habitat grows cooler, but so far, this has not been the case for the Mallard family. While dad Mack is content to keep his family safe paddling around their New England pond forever, mum Pam is eager to shake things up and show their kids - teen son Dax and duckling daughter Gwen - the whole wide world. They convince Mack to take to the skies and venture South for the winter, but their well-laid plans quickly go awry. Rather than the lush relaxing sands of the Caribbean, they find themselves in the hustle and bustle of a major metropolis and must team up with a streetwise pigeon, Chump, if they want to survive the concrete jungle. From the makers of the Despicable Me and The Secret Life of Pets franchises, this whirlwind animation celebrates adventure, family, and wellbeing.
