Into Film Festival Programme

The 2022 Into Film Festival celebrates the return of the unique big-screen experience and is designed to encourage a love of cinema. It also features titles to provoke discussion and stimulate debate on issues relevant to today's generation of young people.

Journey through history to explore significant events, periods, movements and figures from the past; embark on fantastical adventures across worlds both real and imaginary; be inspired by the experiences of young people learning to express themselves, celebrating their identity, and standing up for what they believe in; use the unique power of film as a stimulus for encouraging conversations about our mental and physical health; and cherish what we have all been reminded of over the past couple of years: the value of community, looking out for those less fortunate than we are, and discovering the awesome power of coming together to share in a collective experience whether in our schools, our neighbourhoods, or even in the cinema itself.

Film titles will include exclusive previews and the latest blockbusters, alongside old favourites, stimulating documentaries, animated adventures, modern foreign language titles, and much more, all mapped against the curricula from across the four UK nations and accompanied with Into Film resources.
