Terry Gilliam had long planned, like several notable film-makers before him, to make a movie based on, or at least inspired by, the great Spanish novel Don Quixote. But fate, bad weather and most importantly a serious lack of finances prevented him from realising this dream, and all that we have is this terrific documentary which records Gilliam's heroic/misguided attempt to make the film with Johnny Depp and French actor Jean Rochefort in the lead roles.
