Comedy, Crime, Drama
Jim Jarmusch, the master of slow-burn cult movies, serves up a treat for Elvis fans, in this typically cool mix of comedy and drama unfolding in Memphis, the home of the King. There are three strands to the action, which occasionally overlap or collide, one telling of a kooky Japanese couple in town to pay homage to Elvis, the second an Italian widow escorting her husband's body back home, and the third a downbeat rocker (Joe Strummer) with a dangerously short temper.
Famed indie director Jim Jarmusch presents five stories, each centring on a cab ride at night in LA, New York, Paris, Rome and Helsinki.
