This bittersweet comedy concerns brothers Secondo and Primo, who have come from Italy to New Jersey to set up a restaurant. Despite Primo's incredible food however, the business is failing. When a rival restaurateur offers to help them out by arranging for popular musician Louis Prima to play at their place, the brothers are soon busy creating a feast. This is an affectionate look at the US immigrant experience and with its loving portrayal of Italian food; definitely not one to watch on an empty stomach.
