Musicals, Science Fiction and Fantasy
The great Spanish novel Don Quixote is the basis for this spectacular musical, where the book's author, Miguel de Cervantes, is being held in prison by the Spanish Inquisition. He starts telling the other inmates the story of an idealistic would-be knight who sets off to slay dragons and save princesses but, with a shaky grasp on reality, he ends up attacking windmills instead. It's funny and there are lots of memorable sing-along tunes too.
Beautiful animated adaptation of Chaucer's 14th-century masterpiece, presenting nine of the 22 tales with different directors for each.
