Young Billy is very fond of the kangaroos that live near his house in rural Australia. Then one day, they are gone - taken to the big city to be used for illegal kangaroo fights. Billy finds one small kangaroo, Joey, who has accidentally been left behind, and then sets off to save the rest. This sweet adventure has many more jokes than you normally get in this kind of family movie, and the kangaroos are all great.
