This Singaporean film is about love, but it's no soppy Hollywood romance. It tells the stories of four characters who seem very different from each other, but who all long for affection. At the centre is 61 year-old Theresa, who teaches disabled children English. Theresa is not a fictional character though - she plays herself - and has been deaf and blind since she was a teenager. This surprising blend of fact and fiction makes Be With Me all the more poignant.
Adaptation of William Gibson's inspirational play about Helen Keller, who became blind, deaf and mute at 18 months old, and was taught sign language.
