Synopsis

Far in the future, a space crew travels through the cosmos to intercept a long-lost scientist. Upon embarking on his eerily quiet ship, the investigative team realise that Dr. Hans Reindhardt has not only gone insane, but is determined to fly into an all-consuming black hole. Not willing to risk their lives on his theories, the crew must fight to escape the clutches of the dastardly professor before they are all swallowed up. Although cliché heavy and owing too much of its inspiration to Star Wars, the dazzling combat sequences and gorgeous spaceship designs suggest it was money well spent.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
