It also makes them unusual among their friends, and that's where the drama comes in. Made by one of Britain's best directors, Another Year is a brilliant look at how some people manage to make the best of things, and others don't. Be aware, it does takes its time to tell the story, but if you have the patience, you will get a lot out of it.
