After celebrating her acceptance into university, Rhoda decides to drink-drive home. Distracted by the strange appearance of a new planet in the sky she crashes into the car of a family, killing the wife and son and leaving husband John in a coma. Four years later while the world learns of the existence of Earth II - a duplicate of planet Earth - Rhoda is released from prison and befriends John. As Earth II looms in the sky Rhoda wonders about the identical version of herself and if she has made the same mistakes. Struggling to admit to John who she really is, she enters a competition to win a trip to Earth II and the possibility of getting her old life back gets closer. This mysterious and powerful low-budget film, proves it doesn't take sci-fi wizardry to make you think about life on other planets.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
