Tom Spicer is a huge Metallica fan whose ultimate dream is to meet their Rock God drummer Lars Ulrich. His brother and sister Kate and William feel that they have grown apart from Tom, who has a form of autism called Fragile X Syndrome, and so decide to make their brother’s dream come true. In the hope it will bring them closer together the three set out on a road trip in search of Lars. This is a funny, touching and insightful documentary that reveals the ups and downs of disability, dysfunctional families and the world of a heavy metal rock band.
