Armand is the owner of a popular drag club in Miami where his partner Albert is the star attraction. When Albert’s son Val announces he is engaged, Armand is shocked. But that’s nothing compared to discovering that Val’s future father-in-law is a conservative senator with very old-fashioned values. The two future families meet for an extremely funny, if highly awkward dinner at Armand’s home, where he and Albert find themselves pretending to be something they have spent years trying to get away from. A riotous comedy, with a progressive message and serious things to say about the modern family unit.
