Justin is a typical teen living in small-town America, more focused on his computer games than his brother’s career in the military. Following a tragic accident in Afghanistan Justin is forced to take on his brother’s traumatised service dog. Although initially reluctant, the two eventually form a powerful bond that helps them both to deal with their sudden loss and later leads them on a heroic adventure. This emotional film harks back to family adventures of old, tugging on familiar heartstrings in a modern setting.
