Synopsis

In this sci-fi comedy, blending live-action and animation, Neil is an ordinary teacher who comes into contact with a group of bickering aliens, dubbed the Intergalactic Council (and voiced by comedy legends the Monty Pythons) who are debating whether or not to destroy the earth. As they make their decision, they grant Neil the power to do ‘absolutely anything’, in order to determine whether or not humankind deserves to be wiped out or not. Will Neil use his powers for good, or ill? This is a very silly, cartoonish satire, featuring a galaxy of comedy stars from several generations, including the late Robin Williams in a characteristically manic vocal performance.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
