Following her father’s death, Momo and her mother are leaving Tokyo for a much quieter life on the small island of Shio. Whilst her mother tries to move on, Momo is frustrated with life on the quiet island and troubled by an argument she had with her father and the unfinished letter he left for her. To make matters worse she starts seeing bizarre creatures in the house and suspects they might be responsible for the strange goings on in Shio. Trying to control these unruly goblins and make new friends leads Momo on a journey that tests her patience, bravery and ingenuity. This beautifully drawn animation combines emotional drama with inventive humour from a cast of supernatural characters.
