Synopsis

God and his family share a stuffy flat in Brussels, where he spends most of his time locked away with his computer, inventing rules to make life on Earth that little bit more frustrating. His daughter Ea is fed up of his oppressive nature and decides to play a prank on him – by breaking into his database and to reveal to humankind how long they have left to live. With this uncertainty removed, everyone decides to pursue life exactly as they please – with no regard for God’s approval. Now in deep trouble, Ea escapes to join the mortals, and recruits a disparate group of disciples to form her own ‘Brand New Testament’ in defiance of her father.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
