Synopsis

Young Henry Turner is searching for a way to break a curse inflicted upon his father. After meeting Carina Smyth, an astronomer fending off accusations of witchcraft, the pair quickly encounter Captain Jack Sparrow, who is even more down on his luck than usual, his beloved Black Pearl seemingly lost forever. Things go from bad to worse for Jack when he discovers that he is being pursued by a deadly nemesis, the sinister Captain Salazar, who, together with his band of ghostly sailors is intent on ridding the world of all pirates. In order to defeat Salazar, Jack, Carina and Henry have to locate the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact granting its holder total control of the seas. This is a rollicking ride, returning the franchise to the rollercoaster mayhem and infectious excitement of the original.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
