A happily-married couple live together in a small suburban house until one day the man – known only as C – is killed in a car accident. At the morgue, he awakens as a white-sheeted ghost with two black holes for eyes, returning to his home to look over his grieving wife, M. After a while, M decides to move out of the house, and a new family move in, with C remaining at the house observing their daily lives. With no-one to properly interact with, all C can do is watch as the years and decades pass by and inhabitants come and go. ‘A Ghost Story’ is a meticulously composed, compelling piece of cinema, with musings on love, life and time everlasting.

What our educators say

"The art of discussion has improved and the breadth of language used has been enhanced by the variety of films watched, all of which we order free from the Into Film website."
