Coming of Age, Drama, Romance
Aspiring musician Katie has a rare condition meaning she cannot be exposed to sunlight, resulting in her being raised at home by her single father, following the death of her mother. Her best friend Morgan has visited every day for years, but most of the other young people in her town don’t know she exists, particularly Charlie, who she has been pining over as he walks past her house every day since she was about 10. With all the students graduating, Katie and Charlie meet as she is busking at a train station one night, and before long they fall in love, even though he does not know about her illness. A warm, sentimental romantic drama featuring some excellent performances and a wistful tone.
