The parents of eleven-year-old Julien are in the middle of a divorce after Miriam Besson leaves husband Antoine. While Miriam is content to let her 17-year-old daughter Joséphine decide for herself whether she wants to spend time with her father, she doesn’t want her son to see a man she claims is abusive. Antoine denies the claims, presenting himself as a nice professional and a caring father to friends and colleagues, transferring to the town where the family live to be closer to his son. And so when a judge rules for joint custody, Julien becomes a pawn in the ongoing conflict between his parents in this taut, tense drama.
