Sarah Francis is a young woman whose life is in a bit of a mess, and the last thing she needs is someone else to look after. But when her grandmother leaves her a naughty, spoiled pug named Patrick, her life is thrown further into disarray. Initially he causes chaos, made especially difficult given the no-pets-allowed policy at her home, meaning Sarah must hide the dog while also having to contend with the pressures of starting a new job in a local London school. But soon enough, Patrick begins to help Sarah turn her life around, and even helps to introduce her to potential love interests. This is a feel-good romantic comedy film with a cute dog at its centre.
