Sam and Stéphane are two friends who work together hand-crafting and designing high-quality skis. When a client who was set to represent their brand at the upcoming Winter Games pulls out unexpectedly, having jumped ship to a bigger label, the two men are distraught. Worried about their struggling business, the friends decide to task drastic action, with Stéphane suggesting that Sam should attempt to participate himself. After some encouragement, Sam agrees and begins an intense course of physical training in order to qualify and represent his father’s country, Algeria. Based on an incredible true story, ‘Good Luck Algeria’ is a comedy about what can happen through hard work and perseverance.
