Synopsis

16 year-old Liam has been home-schooled by his mother Claire all his life, but when he falls for a high-schooler called Anastasia during an exam at a local school, he makes the decision to enroll. Over-protective Claire is horrified but allows Liam to sign up and take the place of a student, whose whereabouts are unknown. Socially awkward and naïve, Liam tries his hardest to fit in and get closer to his crush, and with the help of his mother embarks on a project of ‘Teenage Rebellion’, where together they cover topics such as swearing and safe sex. This is a quirky and sweet coming-of-age film about new beginnings and coming into your own identity.
