Synopsis

Slaughterhouse is an illustrious British boarding school where teenage boys and girls are primed for power and greatness, though it comes with a price. Don Wallace is a wide-eyed new starter, from a modest background, who quickly learns that the sadistic sixth formers control the school. Imposing a set of bafflingly arcane rules and rituals, status is aggressively enforced and conversations with school goddess Clemsie are strictly forbidden. As Don attempts to navigate this strange new world, it soon becomes stranger still. After a controversial nearby fracking site causes seismic tremors, a sinkhole appears and unleashes unspeakable horror upon the school and its occupants. Students and staff alike then become embroiled in a bloody battle for survival, in this satirical comedy-horror.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
