Synopsis

The Gruffalo (2009, U cert, 27 mins) Adapted from the best-selling book, this short animation centres on a crafty mouse protected from harm by his own vibrant imagination. Faced by peckish predators - a snake, an owl and a fox - the mouse distracts them all with tall tales of a terrifying beast on the loose. All is well until the seemingly fictitious Gruffalo roars on to the scene. Zog (2018, U cert, 27 mins) Zog is the keenest dragon in school. He's also the most accident-prone. Luckily, a mysterious little girl always comes by and patches up his bumps and bruises. But will she be able to help him with his toughest test: capturing a princess?

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
