Synopsis

This sequel to the 90s cult horror film brings the story to the modern day with a new coven. Moving to a new town and the home of her mother’s partner, teenage Hannah must adapt to living with three stepbrothers and starting at a new school. After an unfortunate accident, Hannah begins to feel isolated from her classmates, with some of them mocking her. Three girls from her class offer some support when they invite her over for a sleepover, introducing Hannah to mystical rituals and powers that allow the group to defend themselves against bullies. However, the strength of the girl’s connection and abilities also result in a dangerous turn of events. This continuation of the original story has a strong anti-bullying message and discusses issues surrounding gender representation.
