Synopsis

Two colleagues begin to notice each other, eating dinner together, sharing stories and jokes as they become friends. After one of them gifts the other a cookie, a cute little pink elephant appears but they both try to ignore it. As their friendship develops and the possibility of stronger feelings becomes apparent, the elephant grows bigger and bigger until it cannot be ignored any more. This mostly silent, very charming and undeniably sweet exploration of how relationships change over time also uses an entertaining visual metaphor in a unique manner.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
