Matt Edwards, a lower-limb amputee boxer, is determined to break down barriers, become a professional fighter and represent his country. But England Boxing, the national governing body for the sport, has refused to give Matt the chance to fight because of concerns over safety and his prosthesis. As he campaigns to get an amateur boxing license, it becomes clear that the real fight isn't in the boxing ring: it's against a system that continues to put up obstacles, reflecting the ableist attitude that makes it difficult for disabled people to feel included in society, sport, and media. Featuring a host of disability equality advocates, as well as the diverse and enthusiastic members of an adaptive boxing club, this documentary is a powerful portrayal of why it’s important to keep fighting the good fight for a more inclusive society.
