In Tokyo, Japan, Hana falls in love during her second year of college with an enigmatic man who eventually reveals himself to be a wolf-man. They go on to have two children together, a daughter named Yuki and a son named Ame. Just as their life as a family is beginning, tragedy strikes when the wolf-man dies unexpectedly whilst out searching for food. Life as a single mother is difficult for Hana and she makes the big decision to move away from Tokyo to the countryside, not least to keep her children’s identity as half-wolf hybrids a secret from prying eyes. The countryside is a gentler, more welcoming place but soon reveals its own dangers as Yuku and Ame start school, begin to grow up and discover new, confusing aspects about their identities. A much-loved anime from Japan that focuses on the sacrifices that parents make for their children and the challenges faced in forging your own identity.
Spooky animation about a teenage werewolf who receives a shock upon his first transformation when he turns into a poodle instead of a fierce wolf.
