Synopsis

When it comes to making money, the most successful entrepreneurs always come up with ingenious ways to make a huge profit. It's 40s New York, and after the boss of Hudsucker Industries kills himself, the directors at his company decide to put an idiot in his place to run the company almost into the ground - then, when the stocks go down, they plan to buy them up, put the company back on top and make a fortune. But will their plan succeed? The answer lies in this clever and hilariously freewheeling movie from fan favourite filmmakers the Coen brothers.
