Forty years before the release of the epic Titanic came this film about the "unsinkable" vessel that sank on its first crossing of the Atlantic - and in many people's eyes, it's the better film. A superb, semi-documentary recreation, A Night To Remember sticks closely to the facts, gradually building tension as other ships race against time to assist the stricken passenger cruiser. Filled with stiff-upper-lip heroism, this is a deeply moving drama that isn't as spectacular as the later version of the story, but in its way feels far more realistic.
Dramatic combination of documentary and historical re-enactment about a treacherous Andes mountain climb by two Brits, in South America.
