Action and Adventure, Westerns
In nineteenth-century Arizona, debt-ridden Civil War veteran Dan Evans is struggling to survive on his drought-ravaged ranch. However, fate intervenes when he volunteers to transport newly captured outlaw Ben Wade to the nearest railway town to make the 3:10 train bound for Yuma prison. So begins a dangerous trek through harsh open country, during which Wade regularly tries to psyche out Evans. Worse still, the criminal's old gang is in pursuit - meaning it's only a matter of time before a violent showdown ensues. A thoughtful, modern western that's tautly paced and powerfully performed.
Classic western about a lawman who is about to turn in his badge, but hears an outlaw he'd put behind bars is coming to town seeking revenge.
