Danny Rose is a manager of a selection of mostly terrible singers and performers who are seemingly doomed to eternal failure, until once-popular singer Lou Canova suddenly finds himself in demand once more. Danny indulges his most arrogant of acts in the hope that he'll pull off the comeback which will benefit everybody. After entanglements with the mob and a successful performance by Lou, Danny finally finds himself on the very cusp of success, only to discover that loyalty and honesty aren't always enough. Despite its many hilarious moments, Broadway Danny Rose also stands as a sweet-natured study of human nature.
