Science Fiction and Fantasy
Jack Lucas is a former American radio shock-jock who is haunted by the fact that one of his cynical on-air rants drove a man to commit mass murder. After unsuccessfully trying to commit suicide, he comes into contact with homeless man Perry - driven to delusion by the fact his wife was one of the killer's victims. However, Perry's seemingly unhinged quest to find the Holy Grail may offer Jack the chance of redemption. Director Terry Gilliam reins in his customary extravagances here to create a moving and hilarious parable of salvation.
Much-loved family classic about a man visited by an angel on Christmas Eve who challenges his view his life has been a failure.
