A young upper-class man is sent to work in the factory owned by his family, and quickly runs into trouble with his fellow employees for working too hard. Unbeknownst to him, his uncle has an agenda where he plans for his nephew to become the catalyst of a labour dispute, which his uncle hopes to profit from. It's not just the workers who are the target of this classic British satire - the bosses, the bankers and the media all get skewered with great precision. However this is a comedy as well as an astute look at pigheaded human behaviour, it has serious points to make, but will have you laughing at the same time.
