Synopsis

A sequel of sorts to director Wong Kar Wai's In The Mood For Love, 2046 follows the continuing amorous adventures of that movie's character Chow - now a writer of science-fiction novels that take him and the audience into the year 2046. A truly beautiful-looking film, 2046 is not the most straightforward movie to follow, but it is one that will make you think deeply about human love, desire, and what the future holds. Hong Kong superstar Li Gong is brilliant as one of the objects of Chow's affections.
