In this intense French drama, Juliette is released from jail after serving 15 years for murder. When she was convicted her parents declared they wanted nothing more to do with her, and now she is free it seems she has no-one to support her in her vulnerable state. However, a social worker persuades Juliette's sister, Lea to take her in and soon the frosty relationship between the two siblings begins to thaw. However, Lea's husband Luc is still suspicious, given the nature of Juliette's crime, and an almost thriller-like tension builds up towards some shocking revelations.
