This charming sequel to the animated hit The Fox and the Hound is another tale of unexpected friendship between natural enemies, but set earlier in the heroes' lives, when they were cub and puppy. It continues to promote the first film's message of tolerance, as well as the importance of being true to yourself. Young hound Copper neglects his fox-cub friend Tod when he joins a singing group of stray dogs at the fair. Jealous Tod sabotages Copper's chances with the group, but, guilt-ridden, tries to put things right...
