Successful playwright Siddalee Walker drops a few hints about her unhappy childhood in a magazine interview. This leads to her confrontation with her mother which goes out of control. After Siddalee and her mother swear never to see each other again, the playwright is visited by her mother's childhood friends who advise her to cut her some slack by relaying a few truths about her mum's difficult upbringing.
