I absolutely loved this film. i had expected to see a 1 and a half hour episode of 'The Mighty Boosh' but i was amazed to find myself enjoying the recollection of Stephen's tale of confinement, loneliness, love and death.
Of course i thought that Julian Barret and Noel Fielding were great and very funny in the film, which was essentially the pair using some of their characters from the 'Boosh' but they still were able to make me laugh out loud with the sketch of the 'Polish Dog Farmer' and the 'Mustached Matador'.
but as well as the comedic side to the film, the more serious scenes in the film cannot be criticized. The love story between stephen and a hot-tempered crab waitress. which inevitably leads to the haunting tale of 'Bunny and the Bull'.
overall i think that this deserves much more than it is accredited for, and more people should be watching the film instead of sticking with the simple tales of 'the mighty boosh' while riding their bree horses (Quoted from Howard moon)
