Delicatessen (1991)

Er, ok. Wher do I begin? Delicateesen is certainly surreal, in fact did it even have a plot? The completely mad events seem to revolve around a butcher called butcher (wow, lovin' the names) and his daughter who has fallen in love or somthing. I don't know I just remember one weird bit where her and this bloke where hiding (or whatever-by then I'd just given up) in a bathroom that was flooding. Oh, I also remember random people that where digging underground the flat that all the characters live in. Don't ask me who they are or why they're digging, I haven't a clue. Basically, this film is incredibly random and nothing that happens makes any sense. If you like that sort of thing then go ahead and watch it by all means, but i'd recommend you watch it with some mates (so when you lose the "plot" you can laugh about how bad it is) and grab plenty of popcorn.
