Before I start I have to apologise because there is very little that is good I am going to write. This film had only two things going for it. The first is that it has gorgeous camera work and the colour scheme was well thought out. The second thing was that this film is short. Ten minutes longer and the film would be a form of torture. Gus Van Sant, tried very hard to bring art into the film. Though this is honourable there is a difference between art and dullness. The characters are stiff. The acting is dim. The background music is insidiously irritating (that is in the rare occasions that there is background music). The plot is slow and circular. The director failed to create any atmosphere whatsoever. In brief, I would not generally advise anyone to watch this film.
