This film wasn't very good.It is almost identical to John Fords 1956 film Mohawk which contains alot of footage from this film by John Ford from 1939,the only obvious difference between the two is that this film is set in the American war of independence and has British and Mohawk as villains rather than just having Mohawk in like Mohawk did.The film is about two lovers in the American war of independance who go to a fort and the fort suffers several attacks from Mohawks as usual the Americans are the goodguys.The main badguy is an englishman wearing black with a black eyepatch leading the Mohawk to battle this is very similar to the film Mohawk which had an evil American wearing black trying to start a war between the whites and the Mohawk so that the Mohawk would be cleared off their land.I would give this film a 4/10 because of it's bad acting,bad plot and racist attitude to the Mohawk.
